Bangladeshi student here, The protest escalated because Hasina already killed 200+ students. I was in those protests. She used paid people with arms to attack us. We were unarmed.

After everything happened, Jamat-BNP came out and tried to celebrate. Students are trying their best to reform it. 80% of stolen goods were returned.

And I am aware of the extremists here, I'm an Hindu myself. They don't represent the most of us.

As a Bangladeshi, I must say this video is largely based on misinformation and presents only one side of the story. 


Since the beginning of the Sheikh Hasina Government, there have been persistent efforts to eliminate the opposition party through unethical practices. 


Not only the opposition but every individual who dared to speak against the ruling Awami League was silenced. 


Countless people were killed, went missing, or were jailed to ensure that a handful of people in the Sheikh family could retain power forever.


Regarding the rage against Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, research the chaos and brutality he committed during his rule from 1972 to 1975. 


These are not baseless random claims from a random internet user; 174 million Bangladeshis have witnessed these events over the last two decades. 


If this isn't dictatorship, then please explain what is. 


Also, tell us which democratically elected political party holds over 80-90% of the parliament in any part of the world.

Its funny how he is trying to "victimize" a "dictator". Also, notice how he completely ignored why USA sanctioned the leaders of Awami League. How the leaders from Awami league had stolen crores of money from Bangladesh and tried to hide it in USA which was later claimed by USA when they discovered it. And the fact that he said he doesn't believe the student protest wasn't supported by any outsider was funnier cause if what he's saying was true and the protest was orchestrated by USA with the help of BNP and Jamaat then we would see BNP and Jamaat joining the students in the street which we didn't see till the last moment. The most Horrible thing is hasina had a detective branch named DGFI who used to captivate people for year in a room called Aynaghor(Mirror room).
Intellectuals, lawers, different officials who raised their voice are captivated there for more than 12 years alone.Their family had know idea whether they are alive or not.no one knows where these rooms are situated and what they go through there.A barrister was released yesterday from an Aynaghor who was encaged there for 8 years.His family had no clue about him.Think if that person is you or your family how you would feel.
