Love you Hoda and I’m so glad your little Hope is home! My two year old had a chronic illness for 8 months and I had to make the difficult decision to schedule him for a surgery which I was told had a 50% chance of helping him. And this was in 2020 when I couldn’t have anyone with me at the hospital as a support person. I was absolutely terrified and felt the weight of the world on my shoulders. I’ve never prayed so hard in my life. His surgery was a success and he’s now a healthy 5 year old. When we have no other choice but to be brave, we find the courage we need. Great job, Mama! ❤️

I’ll never forget passing you on west 45th street, years ago! You smiled so brightly at me and you talked to me, a total stranger, as though we’ve known each other for years! I’m so happy for you, Hope, and your family….my 2 sons are deceased from neurological illnesses. I’m forever grateful for having them for the short time I had. Praying for your daughter Hope Catherine, my son was just hospitalized over the weekend after being in and out of the drs mid weekend he progressively got really sick with an illness called croup, the breathing treatments and steroids were terrible but my little boy is on the mend. I’ll be praying your daughter is on the mend of whatever she is battling ❤ god has got this.

This verse definitely applies. I Thessalonians 5:18 "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." Hoda was following all that is light and good when she focused on thankfulness in the middle of the storm!

I’m glad your daughter is feeling better ❤️ our 7 yr old son was diagnosed with cancer osteosarcoma the day the doctor put up our babies X-ray of his knee and looked at me and said “ this is a TUMOR but I don’t know what kind “ I fell to my knees and had a full blown anxiety ATTACK 😭😭💔💔 the worst nightmare for any parent and the STRESS was unbelievable the next 3 yrs was a roller coaster chemo after chemo operations after operations those 3 yrs aged me 20 yrs I cried so much there is nothing left our beautiful Emgee died in my arms at home 😭😭💔💔 the life our little family knew was no more 💔 please people pay attention to your kids and make memories because one day there fine then your told they are not in a second …..

My daughter was about 1 hour away from leaving us when when she was first diagnosed with Type1 diabetes. She was in ICU for about 9 days and then in the hospital for another week until we learned how to care for her ~ she is almost 40 now and doing well, but that visit to the hospital never left my heart. I am so glad that Hope is home and your family is well now. Blessings and prayers to you all, Hoda!
