Totally agree with you, I hate the way MH will slap pink on virtually anything when they feel like it needs something extra. I know everyone loves the Haunted line but the excess pink on characters it didn't really suit was what kept me from getting most of those dolls. Especially when most of that pink was just big chunky pieces of plastic

The Monster Fest (not Draculaura though) and Core Refresh lines are so astonishingly good! I have all of them and display them so I can easily see them. The Monster Mysteries and Garden Party lines absolutely pale in comparison. I don't even want Cleo and Clawdeen ( my favorites) from the Mystery line

Wow it’s amazing how much of a difference the warm yellow works in Neon Frights Draculaura!
I love the Neon Frights Ghoulia and I think she’s far superior than the core one.
I finally have Neon Frights Toralei and will edit/post the video soon and I have to say I love her, but I can understand that she looks better in the red you showed. She is my only Toralei and I have to say she looks so much better in person than in stock videos 😊

I’m eventually going to buy Fearbook Draculaura since she reminds me of Skulltimate Secrets 1 and I missed out on that one (and she’s in drama club and I was in drama club in high school 😄)
There are so many MH dolls I need to get (especially the core refresh ones and you’re right, your edit on core refresh Frankie is so much better than the original doll). It’s really nice to see that their more recent dolls look even better than the first wave of G3 (and I loved the first wave 😄)
Yes the Eekend Getaway Draculaura now has black hair with pink highlights (so no split dye and and no bangs anymore)
Okay when I said the later MH dolls were much better, I didn’t mean Skulltimate Secrets 4 😅
I’m really hoping SS5 Twyla will look better in person than the stock image 🤞

Draculaura in faboo line is soo gorg im glad i used her SS1 spare shoes and the outfit is so much better with it

I painted Scaredise Clawdeen's boots black and waved her her and oh my god... She looks incredible now! The orange/pink boots was such a weird idea. But MH G3 is going so strong now and it makes me feel so good!

For Catty Noir, I feel like you can just change her outfit. Every restyle I have ever seen of her, she has been absolutely flawless. Even if someone doesn't like her original outfit (I think it's ok once you take the shrug off), that's not going to stop her from being fabulous.

I have never got any of the Skultimate Secrets because of poly hair. Can't stand it, don't want the big lockers. I'll save my $ for worthy dolls.

the way i remember which of the werecat twins is which: purrsephone has black hair, persephone is the goddess of the underworld, underworld is associated with darkness.

also i agree with your ranking of neon frights twyla 900%. i don’t mind her bangs but i hate that her hair is poly. the hair colors are so good and bold and saturated, and her makeup is FLAWLESS. she comes with noise-blocking earbuds too, and i think that’s such a good accessory to include for her, with how she’s autistic with sensory issues. 😭 i wish they’d included those with her core doll too.

i know the skulltimate5 dolls will have poly hair too but i gotta get twyla anyway 😆

I actually like the SS4 Cleo design in the perspective of Rave clothes rather than ballet. Her design would absolutely go well in a rave/festival setting.

I have kind of a soft spot for the Faboolous Pets Drac because she was my second (along with Clawdeen) G3 doll. I unpicked the ruffle on her skirt and cut the wings off her top (they were bunching the fabric weirdly) which just made it so much better. Her base doll is one of my favorites too, I love the hair blend and 2 hearts under her eyes instead of 1.

I’d totally split the cost of the Cleo playset so i can get the vanity and not the doll lol 👀 i totally agree on the new skulltimate secrets, im a little disappointed that they’re moving away from “here are some lightly themed but kinda random clothing pieces to mix and match” to “here is the same outfit for all the dolls just recolored”. I still like them but it just takes away the fun of restyling them cuz there’s not really a lot of versatility.
