Great list! I'd replace Yahtzee with Reiner Knizia's 600; more dice, more options and dare I say more strategy than Yahtzee. Additionally, I'd like to make an "obscure" mention of Mice and Men (great for large groups and getting some out of poker chips) and Boss Dice (for an intense 1v1).

An alternative to Liar's Dice, that i have found, is a little game called Indian Chief, yes that is the name of it.

All players get a single six sided dice and roll it then, without looking at the dice, they put it to to their forehead and from there it is just like Liar's Dice except you have to guess the total among the players rather than the amount of a face of the dice.

I play a much shorter version of liar's dice. Starting with an ante going clockwise starting player calls his roll. The next player either believes it and tries to roll a higher number or pops the top to call the player who passed the dice. If the passing player was lying then he antes more to the pot. And the pot caller starts again with his roll and calls it. This continues with each player until the next play pops the passer's top and the dice are true. The passer wins the pot and the game starts all over. It only requires five dice and one cup.

Dice chess where you roll all pieces onto the board and then start. If you have no kings, the goal is extermination of your side, if you have multiple kings either all kings need to be captured or if one king is checkmated you lose.

Two of my favorite games didn't make it to the list - that's Mia and Decathlon. Absolutely agree with having Yahtzee, Farkle and Liar's Dice on the list. My perspective is shifted away from super simple games with only luck involved more to the ones which involve at least some skill. So while I may agree with "Ship, Captain, Crew" being in top 10, I'm not quite for having Bunco or Craps so high in the list.

My favorite game growing up was always 21 (alternatively “ones”) but I don’t seen ANY info on this game ANYWHERE on the web. Dissapointing as it is a great game with simple rules and can be either a betting game, or a drinking game. (Note I’m NOT talking about “Mexico” or “Mexican dice” which I have seen also called “21. Nor am I talking about “BlackJack” dice)
