Thanks Ann for once again breaking down a technique into steps that make it accessible for some of us newbies. Your instructions make it seem possible. 😊

Hey, wonderful video. I have a few questions, hopefully you or someone else can answer them. They are:

1- can you use any sort of pencil? Or does it have to be a special pottery type pencil?
2- How long do you wait for your pieces to dry before carving and slip decorating? A day or two? Or longer?
3- Do you bisque fire before glazing? Or do you have success in greenware stage and glazing?

Thanks so much!!

All of them are beautiful. I think I like the last vase/pot the best. Thank you so much for explaining the slip trailing process so clearly!

I like using a handheld immersion blender to mix slip w/water. Then sieve thru 80 mesh screen (or a Talisman sieve).

as always, your ideas and imagination are inspiring, i loved all they look so pretty but my favourite was the image of the pot with dots and swags from above, due to your shape you couldn't see the plain white underside. thanks or sharing everything, and ill keep watching thank you x
