BJP-JDS Alliance Meeting in Karnataka Ends In Scuffle | Lok Sabha ELection 2024 | India Today News

A joint meeting between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the JDS in Karnataka ended in a scuffle between party workers. The altercation occurred on stage at Saruth Ray, in front of alliance candidate Somanna. The dispute was instigated by JDS MLA MT Krishnappa , who blamed BJP leader Kondajji Vishwanath for a previous defeat. The incident is notable as both parties are currently in an alliance. Vishwanath, formerly of the JDS and now a member of the BJP, was prevented from speaking by Somanna. The matter was later clarified by MLA MT Krishnappa and former MLA Jairam.
