McGill Libraries: Cybertheque

Cybertheque, often referred as Cyber, is one of the most popular libraries at McGill generally houses many students. It is located in the underground level of the Redpath building, as an extension of the McLennan library. There are 4 pods surrounded by glass walls located in the center of Cybertheque. However, noise is not completely insulated by the glass walls. The pods are equipped with a computer hooked up to a large flat screen TV and seats 6 to 8 people. There are individual study spaces on the left side of Cyber and group study booths on the right side. There are new study carrels available as well near the study booths.
In order to obtain elevator access students have to contact security. Finally, computers are not equipped with adaptive software here.
