It is regrettable, reprehensible and disgusting for this APC guy to lie so blatantly in public on national television. So much so that, Maupe had to rightly come in and defend the Jonathan administration. President Jonathan's govt was NEVER nepotic: he appointed people from every part of the country on the basis of merit, who in their various offices, performed their duties, some better than others. In his time, Nigeria made great strides in the area of agriculture, spear-headed by Prof. Akinwunmi. When the ebola crisis befell us, we were able to put a halt to the spread in a record short time, for which we earned the respect of the WHO, (World Health Organisation), which sent people to Nigeria to find out what we did. That was only possible because, the right person,
Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, was in place. He did a fantastic job! Labaran Maku, the then Minister for Information, went tirelessly round the nation to individual states to see how the they, the state govts were dispersing the dividends of democracy; but not only that, he organized public forums where Federal Ministers gave accounts of what they had achieved so far. All this is publicly available. This is just to name a few! Yes! Jonathan's govt had lots of corruption problems, but they were INCLUSIVE. And this person comes on TV and "chats rubbish!" Nonsense! I don't KNOW what planet this guy is on, but Nigeria is MORE DIVIDED! This is absolutely MORONIC! I am not a PDP supporter, neither have I ever liked Buhari, talk less of APC, but it's good to give credit to where credit is due.
