So Indy didn’t build around Luck and look what happened, Green Bay doesn’t build around Rogers they win games but can’t get to the Super Bowl for like 10 years. They Patriots built around Brady until they stopped and then he went to Tampa and they built around him again and how many Championships does he have? Brady never had the strongest arm either but he was smart with the ball. The Quarterback is one piece of the team but it takes a whole team to get the championship. Most recent example is Baltimore. Everyone is like “we got an MVP quarterback but our secondary is god awful.” Your statement tells me that you think the QB should be playing offense and defense. Tua not being captain means nothing. Goff is captain and look at where that team is. Captain in this league is equivalent to the participation awards. No extra benefit other than calling a coin toss. I rather my QBs time be spent on more important things like warming up or talking to the teammates and getting ready mentally.
Also the Watson thing was business and it made sense to explore since he is a proven QB physically. Every team explored that option. But mentally the kid has issues. And in all honesty I think Watson tried to talk to Craft but Craft was like I got my own message shop problems don’t bring yours over here.
The fact is Tua is wanted in Miami. They love Tua, they chanted for Tua, and if he leaves fans will be very upset because he is the first stable QB since Marino.

Just wanna add Tua definitely set a new trend In Tuscaloosa as a college qb… as a die hard Alabama fan (and I should never say this but Bama games were plain boring after a qtr, maybe 2 max… and his unbelievable ability to create a spark just happens… in 2 seasons as a starter he played half the snaps as all the other qb’s and had almost twice the production… maybe not quite so drastic, but he’ll do it again in Miami… he’s just gettin started good…
