Bauman Hay Fluffer Tedder

The Bauman Hay Fluffer Tedder is designed to gently lift and release hay with minimal leaf damage. The Fluffer Tedder allows air to move through hay and gives additional windrow height for faster drying time. The result is better control over how hay dries and a uniform cure.

Built a tedder out of an old New Holland basket rake. Put a hydraulic motor on the main rear drive. removed the separation bars. Offset the right wheel by two feet. Talk about a nice job tedding ! It moves the entire wind row over because it can be ran in reverse or standard foreward. The rake runs much slower because the teeth are at an angle. This machine shown here. Id hate to see when something lets go. Will come visit you in the cab !!!!

We had a similar machine in the 1960s, The Nicholson Back-Kick, replaced by a similar machine called The Lely Cock Pheasant which was similar although you could change the direction of the rotor if you wished to make it an 'Over the top' tedder.
