fun fact: This sequence starts out in a tropical city (dont know where), then at 2:20 moves to Rotterdam in the Netherlands. The Evo is driven down the stairs of the 'Koopgoot', literally meaning 'shopping gutter', which is a well known shopping area in the city. Then at 2:34 the final part of the stairs are located in another (i guess the tropical) city. Subsequently moves back to Rotterdam at 3:51. Then at 4:03 the car is drifted into a parking space in Capelle aan den IJssel in the Netherlands, this is a city next to Rotterdam. This street is literally 1 minute from where I live and it's literally the last place where you would find a police chased Evo drifting around hahaha. The last part of the scene was shot in Rotterdam.

Wow what a throwback! And I realise now that this movie must have subconsciously affected my car choices because in the early 2000s I had both a Lancer (No Evo, but same generation) and after that a 3 series E36 BMW :D
