Update! I've created a brand new and correct lyric video for this song.

I have literally looked everywhere for an Old Violin lyrics video and I could not find one! So in all my frustration, I have decided to create my own. Please like and subscribe. I do not own these lyrics or the song.

Love this song. I was a drug addict and more when introduced to this song. I felt his pain and his truth in it....loved it ever since. (3 yrs sober and still this song helps me out)

Johnny was an awesome singer and songwriter who never got the recognition or airplay he deserved.he is a legend and should have been in the hall of fame years ago

Shame this man never got the full credit he deserved. He was a giant in country music. Same tier with Cash, Jones, Jennings and Haggard.
