I am a living kidney donor. I donated a kidney to my husband in 2019. I wanted to say that it was not easy, but the experience has impacted my life in many positive ways. My husband is doing great now. My son is very happy to have his dad better. The experience was great. UCLA team is so patient and caring. They are very dedicated and to them, this is much more than just a job. I don’t know if I could ever top that feeling of being a donor!

UCLA's Core Kidney program is an exemplary site for those with kidney disease and for the kidney donors who are stepping up to save a life.
