I just saw her in Mean Girls on Wednesday. Although I saw Barrett's Janis on Broadway about a year ago, I have to say Mary's take on Janis is absolutely BREATHTAKING. I'd Rather Be Me was one of the show-stoppers, her comedic timing and angst were on point, and also, she was a literal sweetheart at the stage door. She's been an inspiration to me for a couple YEARS now and getting to see her perform as Janis was a dream come true.

Mary Kate is a effing star. She absolutely killed it as Elphaba on tour (and after this stint as Janis I look forward to seeing her as Elphie on Broadway, hopefully with GC still around because their chemistry together is absurd). But yea she's gonna nail this role.
