I bet heavily in favour of Usyk in the run up to this fight. I was shocked that some much of the boxing community though that Joshua would win this - Usyk is a once in a generation boxer and I knew he'd beat Joshua down. Joshua just doesn't have the heart for fight for fights like this.

AJ deservedly lost, can’t outbox a boxer. Yes every time he hit Usyk with power it stunned him, the only way he wins the rematch is letting go of combinations, lure Usyk in, all it takes is one clean hard shot and he’s rocked. But can he land it?

Usyk's footwork won the fight. When he positions himself like that he gets such a huge advantage as Joshua's visual reaction time from that angle is slower, he gets caught clean before he sees the punches coming. I'd counter his moves by moving right (if I were Joshua). Aj's movement was too stationary, making him an easy target.

AJ held for dear life in that 3rd round. AJ played Usyks game and tried to outbox him. AJ literally tried to mirror Usyk and used some of Usyks tactics on Usyk right after Usyk was successful in hiting AJ with them. Very strange. It is like AJ is learning on the job or not even learning but just copying. Who is AJ? What's his style? I don't think even AJ knows. He should know by now but doesn't. I've heard him say in the past he is like a sponge when it comes to absorbing information and I see that but at some point you must take in and then disregard some of that information creating your own style and decide what is best and most useful for your own style. AJ is 32 years old now and has been champion but too many times in that ring he looks unsure of himself and does not adapt and flow naturally in the moment. Boxing is not all textbook it is also feel and on the spot reactions. Like Jazz or a band jamming. You can learn scales and notes and technique but there comes a time when you take that knowledge and apply it making it your own while feeling the moment. When those moments present themselves in the boxing ring with AJ he looks very lost and confused at times.
