Furthermore we discuss the politics of the Green Party in Canada and what developments are taking place in it. Lastly we analyse Canadian & U.S foreign policy with a focus on Venezuela and Iran.

Note: Dimitri Lascaris was named by Canadian Lawyer Magazine as one of the 25 most influential lawyers in Canada in 2012 and not 2013. In the video lower thirds appear that state mistakenly state 2013.

Dimitri Lascaris is one of the most brilliant, cogent, and articulate journalists in North America. His articulation of the dichotomy between Canada and US political and health care systems should be broadcast to every US citizen.

Unlike Holland Canada has no national pharmacare program. British Columbia has a system to subsidize costs for people without a private drug plan. It hurts me to say this but 40 per cent of Canadian health care is the private model. Most Canadians do not even know how to break that down until sadly they have something like Cancer and find they have to pay for exorbitant outpatient drugs when they have no private plan from an employer. It takes going on social assistance in some provinces to remediate those issues. Truth be told Canada is half way or greater down the rabbit hole of Neoliberalism. Hook. Line. Sinker. Canada is virtually hand-tied to the American economy and their wretched Asian supply chains. Unless we are prepared to pursue greater self sufficiency, lower GDP and lower average income, we will be riding the roller coaster of boom and bust uncertainty for the near future and beyond. First past the post is a criminal electoral system in Canada and some provinces still, have unlimited political fundraising. In this crisis playing by the health guideline rules gives me cause for greater hope than navigating the mine fields of business and politics as usual. A doctrine which subscribes to the myth of being "globally competitive".

Voting or even being registered to vote and expecting a different result, like an end to militarily enforced Exclusive Economic Zones, #ConcentrationCamps, monopoly currency, war and other abuse by the cult of sovereignty, is madness.
