A game like Secret of Mana play with almost every human sense, the immersion is unbelieveable. The story, the gameplay, the music, everything fits so well and that's why, imo, we all love it. It is a true masterpiece in every aspect.

One of the fondest memories was Sitting down with my Older Brother and Sister (at a time where we never could decide on anything together) sat down and beat Mana with 3 controllers and the multitap from bomberman that my dad spend weeks tracking down. I never told them how important that time was for me.

My childhood soundtrack. Can't believe me and my brother finished this game in Japanese subtitles when I was 9. We can't even understand a word. We just take hints if there's something going on base on the character's expression and we talk to every people we see and if the dialogues change, we'd be suspicious about it. It was cool. I played it again few years ago with English subtitles and I really don't know how we manage to finish this game when were kids. Lol

The soundtrack for this game is such a hidden gem. This medley is amazing and I love how you encompass just everything that makes these songs so beautiful.

This really took my back to being 9. My parents had just divorced, and life suddenly didn't seem as secure as it used to. But renting of mana and playing it with my younger brother for a week straight in summer time made me feel like everything was OK again. Almost 30 years later, I feel like I will always remember that.

It's a bitter sweet joy listening to this wondeful music. Brings back certain memories of my teenage years. Especially the time of 1997 when I was 14. It was the time when you could see the comet Hale-Bopp in the sky. I played this game with a friend I went to school with. We played a lot of games at that time. SoM caused a lasting impact. The game is adventurous und touching. At the beginning of 1998 my friend moved away and we never saw each other again. Now 23 years past and every now and then I wonder how he did in life, where's he at right now... So every now and then I look up stuff about SoM on YouTube and bathe in memories.

This is very well done. Secret of Mana has my second favorite musical score behind Final Fantasy VI, and just ahead of Final Fantasy IV. The old school Square games for Nintendo always delivered excellent music.
