In a race, then the cheetah obviously wins. If it's a fight..then the Pit Bull most likely wins. This is not to say the cheetah is definitely going to lose..but Pit Bulls were bred to go up against large and powerful creatures like bulls and wild pigs and have been witnessed bringing down cows and horses. They are extremely powerful, durable, brave, and, most importantly, determined dogs. Determination is important in a fight. The less determined an opponent, the more likely it is that they will give up or flee the conflict. And since Pit Bulls are what is considered to be game, the cheetah definitely would be more likely to give up, especially when the cheetah is getting relentlessly attacked by an animal powerful enough to bring down a cow. The cheetah would have to kill the Pit Bull, but the Pit Bull could theoretically win by damaging the cheetah so much that it cannot continue as well as win due to the cheetah running away. The good news is that if the cheetah runs, it is fast enough to escape the Pit Bull.
