We can use arrays to model multiplication and find factors. An array is a set of objects that are arranged in rows and columns. We solve a word problem using an array to help us find how many in all. We use six counters to make as many different arrays as we can. We write a multiplication sentence that matches an array. We draw an array to find a product.
