Abstract: Let F be a field, and let x be any element in F. We prove that 0 times x is equal to 0. This statement may seem obvious, but it requires proof! And sometimes it is hard to figure out the proof of "obvious" statements like this. This video shows how to prove that 0 times x is equal to 0 using the axioms of a field.
