Borderlands 3 also drops "Legendaries" like candy on halloween. Back in borderlands 2 you might get 3-4 legendaries in a single campaign run but those would carrry you for 10 levels and getting them was exciting.

In borderlands 3 your entire Inventory will be orange by the end of the game and none of the gun's feel special. It's like "oh which legendary do I want to drop to pick up this other legendary?".

The story...I don't even know where to begin. The concept or theme was family. That did not even register to me, at least. We do not get any information on the twins aside from they are "god" like streamers with enough narcissism to boot. (Early portion of the game) We eventually learn their backstory which is kinda silly. Being caged and then becoming murder hobos is eh. I mean maybe some more things could of caused this but the game doesn't do so much to explain aside being obsessed with attention. The twins have the mental maturity of kids and the semi adult brain for basic strategy. I am not even going to touch the plot holes of the game, fuck that mess. A lot of the new or seemingly new characters are forgotten about because they lack being interesting. The old characters are either gone, killed, missing(zed), or just devoid of their personalities. You can spend hours finding flaws. But at least the gameplay is fun, wish I could skip the campaign tho.

This is why 2 is and probably will be the best Borderlands forever. 2 had great game play and an entertaining story.
