How to play Counter-Strike 1.6 on Android with Xash3D
Note: This version is playable online!

Today we'll be testing Half Life Counter Strike on Android with a great port by Xash3D(a1batross , nicknekit , mittorn,Uncle Misha. This app now features controls by Beloko Games.

Main issues with Counter Strike:
-No online multiplayer support but you can play it over the LAN with your PC or other devices.
-Can't add bots.

How to Play:
1)Download xash3d-android-project apk @ Github:

2) Copy/download the folder cstrike/valve, located in you Half life folder. Place the cstrike folder on your android device @ /sdcard0/xash/cstrike
Note: You can change the default data location by modifying the "Path to game resources" line in the main menu. (Xash3D version 0.15+)

Download cstrike/valve folder:

3) Xash3D v0.17+
Launch the mod by clicking "Create mod shortcut" Then type a "Shortcut name" (cstrike) and put the game folder name here(cstrike) in the "Mod directory line" and save the shortcut. You can now launch the game from the shortcut on your homescreen.

Xash3D v0.14.1
Launch the app and in the command line type:
"-game cstike" then launch Xash3D

(Extras)Download and extract 'extras.7z' into the 'valve' folder
Note: These files add images and sounds to the main menu and a config for joysticks.

They realsed a demo version of a client that lets counter strike work like it actually should including bots. The only problem is that there will be no support on it meaning you have to work out problems yourself.

Can you tell me which version of CS is this from, and which platform the compiled libraries are from? I'm under the assumption that xash3d for android would not be able to load the .dll files meant for the Windows platform, which leaves the .so files. If that's the case I'd be glad enough to get my hands on the .so files so that I won't have to download all the other media files (maps, models, sounds etc.) that I already have on my computer.

As for the UI, it definitely needs more work so that any keybinds can be supported. At the very least they could make it a dropdown menu.
