Spiritual polarization is a very demanding situation in which one begins to morphe from an ignorant state of being to a state of Gnosis. One suffers the most, much more than those whom do not question the diluted state of which they are phenomenally located. Thought changes and interest change. One becomes alienated from those who were once very close or from the community in general. Its a very lonely time and filled with emotional ups and downs. And even though it is very difficult and quite frankly downright traumatic at times. Sooner or later (hopefully because its not garunteed) one earns that which they seek. The pure understanding of Being and in theurgy a pure existence or Henosis of Being with the One. Lux Veritas!

Whereas some people perceive aporia as a process that occurs once, I have found it to be much like the alchemical black phase that can occur several times during a lifetime. To become receptacles capable of receiving the gods, we must be emptied, and this process of being emptied brings with it disquiet and pain. Even when the Philosopher’s Stone has been completed, an imperfection might be found that requires it to be ground down and calcined again, requiring the alchemical process to begin anew.

I gotta be honest- a good 90% of your content goes over my head. It's funny how you talk about eros- my first real mystical experience happened after I opened myself to God's love- not the disciplinary love of the Father nor the selfless love of the sacrificial Lamb, but the passionate love of Christ as the bridegroom.

Since my mystical experience I have felt led to acquire a Persian carpet (I realized after that it is patterned as a giant mandala) and beeswax candles to create a holy space to pray and worship.

Over time my practice of prayer has also changed, and I spend much more time kneeling before the Lord in silence, waiting to hear His voice.

I'm much too stupid and afraid of the occult (I have a healthy respect for the spirit world) to actually make an altar or get into "theurgy", but I've gotten quite a ways with just praying, fasting, reading the Word, and sitting in silence before God.

These are excellent videos, BTW. I know it's 90% over my head but my heart understands that it is swimming in special waters here. It's unbelievable how relatively small your viewership is considering the astonishing quality and power of your content. But honestly it's probably for the best. Your description is a little similar but you describe the exact worldview shattering state I have gone through and have most accurately described as Calcination. An internet search for the practice of theurgy shows no results besides philosophical explanations. I’m left wondering whether my practice of altar construction can be considered theurgy.

The idea is to create a space where the occult workings of the universe are symbolically represented. Every altar needs a mandala. Pictorial mandalas that reflect an aspect of reality are commonly named, idols.

The practice of controlled insanity affects reality. Indeed, truth is stranger than fiction.

It seems to me that theurgy is any spiritual work involving a deity, from talismanic consecration to ancient Greek mysteries like the Eleusian one.

I only wish we had some texts explaining in details some works of advanced theurgy, such as Mithra's Liturgy of the ancient Greek mysteries.
