These should all be $50 without weights. Possibly the most over-priced category for a home gym owner.

People need to be aware, I started to use weighted rucksack in my 6 mile daily walks, usually 10Lb to 15Lb and got hip issues from it. So although I agree these things work, keep an eye out for sore joints especially, if you like me of an older generation, 66 years old. When my knees or hips start to feel stiff I stop using extra weights until the issue goes away. Young bloods may not feel these effects so much but that's another story in it's self

I think it’s time for an updated video. MIR came out with their slim fit vest, Ethos came out with a plate carrier style vest, Walmart came out with Reebok vests. Love the videos and content you’re creating. Thanks Coop

Adding the section for people who just want to shop on Amazon was genius, that was exactly what I was looking for!

As a Northgym vest owner, I can say the comfort is spot on. It does come with extra shoulder padding which helps. Not noted in the video which is worth mentioning about Northgym is that it comes with 2 sizes of midsection straps so you can better adjust the tightness of the vest.
Also, the plates are side inserts, not bottom inserts which is nice since there is almost 0% chance the weight falls out, if you don't secure it as firmly as you should ( ie user error)

If I'm spending cash on a plate carrier I'm buying ballistic plates. It's a great multitasker.

Had the GoRuck plate carrier and hated it. Rubbed blisters up and down my back. Switched to the GoRuck weight vest and it’s infinitely better and more comfortable. I use it several days a week and have absolutely no problems with it

I've got that cap fitness vest. Wear it at work all the time and for walking. Paid about 70 for it at Walmart and absolutely love it. Better than what big five has.

I have a 40lbs V-max weight vests I like because you add and remove weight in 2.5 increments. Also made in the US.

Personally, the Kensui vest is my pick. Coop, you forgot to mention the different options on the pins; the low profile pins are amazing and makes the vest fit perfect for the lighter weight setting.

If you don't need a very specific weight but rather just want to find a way to throw weight into a vest you can go the route of one of the hollow plastic airsoft plates and fill it. Most people I saw online filled it with sand. Filled mine with cement and ended up a bit heavier than the sand. Each plate is a little off from each other but I wasn't really worried about getting everything to match or to a specific weight. They fit into the carriers like real ballistic plates do. The plastic plates were $12 a piece and from there whatever the cost of your fill (sand, cement, plaster, etc) that isn't going to cost a lot. Not the most durable but super cheap.

Just have kids and try to get them through an airport, no vest needed.

Great selection as always. My budget option is the Decathlon vest. 50 bucks including 4 plates. Total weight of the set is 20pounds but you can exchange the plates for heavier options or buy additional ones.

I use a Run Max weight vest on the treadmill. I bought the 40 lb (10 x 4lb sandbags) version. It's fairly comfortable, reasonably priced but does get in the way for push ups on the floor. Thanks Coop as always for your videos.

The kensui vest really needs some kind of racking system, especially since they go up to 300 lbs. I can think of a few ways that could be implemented

The benefits of living in a military town is picking up actual body armor vests with many of these features in mind for dirt cheap at surplus stores. AATW!

Running in a weight vest has never sat right with me. It makes only some sense to have something pushing you down, but it makes a lot more sense having something pulling you back. I especially don't like the idea of increasing the impact on my joints.

I own the rogue plate carrier and am a huge fan. It feels really good when doing movements and doesn't flop around.
