I bought an identical Forte GT 6-speed in Aurora Black on Tuesday, March 29th. And… I paid MSRP and not a penny more (that took some pushing on my part). But I’m really pleased with this car for the price point. It’s very easy-going, fun to toss around, and is really sharp looking. It was the year 2000 when I last spent under $30K for a car, and I have to say this really is $25, 780 well-spent. I don’t feel like I cheaped out, not at all. The more time I spend with it the more I like it.

I’d take this over the Civic any day of the week, it has so much more soul than the new Civic Si

this one and the civic si were my two options, I ended up going with the si since I felt i has more after market support but the forte is still a clean car

The glacier gray is SUPER nice in person as a color option. I was blown away how it looked with the red accents and tints

I just love your back seat review! It's often just cursory or overlooked. A four door sedan better seat four people comfortably.

I've heard these compare well to the Jetta GLI also. Kiyundai has really come a long way in the last decade.

The price and HP is great. Due to the Shortage, Civic Si’s are being up charged so it’s more like 3-6k more than MSRP. Might be looking into getting a Kia GT.

Bought a '21 gt 6MT about 4 months ago for just under 21k with basically no miles and I will say, absolutely the best "an car sporty kindaish edition" Even with the shortcomings (and it being a kia) this car is absolutely awesome!

I found out a handful of cool things owning it for this short period so far

- It does have piped in engine sounds in sport mode, but you can unplug the microphone under the hood to get it to go away
- With some convincing it does pop and bang stock
- Rev limiter is a less aggressive fuel cut in normal mode, but bangs off in sport mode
- Reverse is not synchronized and will sound horrendous if not at a dead stop. (MT only)]
- Those summer tires it comes with are not good in the cold. Absolutely not in the snow! Do not use them below 30. Do not use them in ANY snow. Don't. It's spin city under normal acceleration! Get other tires or request they be changed out! (Check what tires come on the car! NOT JUST THE TREAD.)

Might be a solid alternative to a Civic SI if the Honda dealer is trying to have their way with you.

Those 1.6 turbos are no slouch. Drove a Veloster Turbo years ago. It was fun

Very great video. I enjoy watching your reviews. Your addition of humor at times is refreshing...keep that aspect up! This is a very nice ride, and is on my short list. Is it possible to order one of these with all season tires? The KIA configurator provides no guidance about that.. that I could find. Great work!
