Welcome to the Deep Dive, in today’s episode I’m going to run through the ins and outs of hoses, quite literally. Hoses for your regulators seem quite simple, but when you go to the department page on a website, there are about a hundred different hoses. And if you don’t know what you’re looking for, you’ve never bought hoses before, which one should you go for?

For sidemount divers you are advised to avoid diving with Miflex XT Tech hose, it's exterior clear coat makes it REALLY hard to deploy & stow the long hose against the strapped tank.

11:05 the word you're looking for is heat sink, not heat sync. The heat is not being synchronized, it's being sunk, aka dissipated.
