The MODX also has acoustic brass sounds, if you’re looking for something more authentic and unfiltered with no FX.
I know cuz I’ve had both.
Not to mention, the original Montage has brass sounds with no FX or filter also.
Had that one too, so that makes 3.
But to take it a step further. What started it all was the Yamaha MOTIF and that LEGENDARY keyboard had a GREAT Brass section that I NEVER used.
So, now we’re at 4.
“4” because no matter how much I’ve had my whole life ($100K+ Studio, Retirement in my mid-30s, etc.), no matter what I’ve done or accomplished, people didn’t change their views or respect my lifestyle… no matter the amount of success.

This keyboard has amazing sounds. My only problem is that you have to dial it in as opposed to the MM6 where you have a bunch of presets to choose from.

C'mon, Yamaha! Unless these guys recorded at some weird FPS you should really refresh your LEDs at a rate that's not gonna beat with standard video framerates.

We can't scratch ourselves without being recorded these days, you should QC all your products to make sure the lights don't strobe like that.

Hopefully that doesn't happen with LED stage lights, I imagine it would be rather off putting to have that happen during a gig. It looks pretty, sure but the lights are there to communicate with the player.

Maybe I'm crazy - 40 years ago I had a Korg Poly 6 that used to have sounds like that - to me that's not "brass" -- maybe it "electric brass" --- but "brass" too me is convincing horns, screaming trumpets that can fall off or fall up - but that's just me. I have a Roland Juno DS that can also replicate something close to this sound. I'm not impressed.

Emulative synth sound programming has gone to shit. That’s not a brass sound. More like a Sawtooth wave variant. Brass my ass. I wish Akai would make their excellent EWI/EVI synth brass sounds available for keys. And those sounds were programmed mostly in the 80s and 90s!
