Toyota RAV4 (2019-2022): Full Android System In OEM Head Unit. Android Auto AI Box!

In this video, we will install the CarPlay / Android-Auto AI Box from One Car Stereo for the 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 Toyota RAV4.

The AI Box is plug-and-play and gets connected to the USB data port in the RAV4. This device converts the original OEM head unit into a full Android 9.0 system without replacing the OEM head unit. Your Toyota RAV4 needs to have wired Apple Carplay support in order to work with this device.

So I'm curious. My 2020 Rav4 has CarPlay but I can't get Android Auto to work on my phone.
Does this Android box mimic/emulate CarPlay so that it can use Android Auto despite not being an Apple device?

You can get android auto retrofitted to 2019 rav4 through dealership by updating to v2 navi first and then the android auto on top of that. The cost will be almost the same as this box though. Bit of a scam from toyota's side.
