I feel like most of these make sense tbh.

Cho had at least some interest in Harry every time they saw each other since Harry’s 3rd year, and it’s the first girl that Harry really had feelings for. Harry was just very awkward and didn’t know what to do, and Cho didn’t seem to really understand that.

This one is kinda fair. I found it weird how Lavender quickly fell for Ron after so long of not paying any attention to him. It’s such an odd part of the series to include this, it’s really just supposed to deviate from Ron and Hermione’s future relationship.

Ginny’s and Dean’s relationship is just whatever. I wouldn’t say it makes no sense, but I also wouldn’t say there’s an argument for it making sense.

Looking back this one is really weird. Krum was 18 when Hermione was 14, making this really predatory. It would probably be hard to find someone who’s 18 at Hogwarts that Krum would want to go to the ball with, but this isn’t a case where he’s dating someone who’s just a bit younger than he is.

This one makes perfect sense. Pansy has never shown any signs of finding fault with Draco, while Draco seems to not have much interest in her. He seems to only like her because she’s in love with him, which is in his character. Draco doesn’t end up marrying Pansy likely because of this feeling not being mutual, but it makes sense why they do date while at Hogwarts.

Dumbledore’s and Grindelwald’s relationship does make sense tbh. Ik someone people don’t see this as canon because it was only after the books were released that Rowling claimed Dumbledore was gay and the Fantastic Beasts movies are not of the same canon as the books, but I can believe their relationship based on what we know of their past together. Dumbledore only stood up to Grindelwald when he believed he had gone too far in his quest for power. It was a decision he could have struggled with making because Grindelwald was his best friend, or because he was his lover.

Voldemort and Bellatrix weren’t a couple, the Cursed Child is such pathetically poor writing that I refuse to believe that as canon. Bellatrix wanted to be Voldemort’s best and loyalest follower, but (apart from that dreadful book) there is no implication that they were a couple. She loved his power, not him.

I 100% agree with this one making no sense. Fred asked out Angelina Johnson to the Yule Ball, not George. Why would George date and marry the girl that his twin brought to the Yule Ball? I don’t see why Angelina would, as she can clearly see them as different people.

Hagrid’s relationship makes total sense with Maxime. It must be so rare for Hagrid to find anyone of his kind, especially a female half giant. While they have very different personalities, they share a connection as being half breeds, something that is very unique in the wizarding world.

Bill and Fleur’s relationship isn’t something I would have predicted, but it’s not like it can’t make sense. Fleur is someone who put her name in the Goblet of Fire because she is a very capable witch and understands the dangers of the world. Bill does too as he is a curse breaker and he works for the Order. I see this making sense
