This is why I love BART. IF this type of operation was performed in NYC, and I tried to record it, I'd probably have personnel and cops all over me... Enjoy =)

The old C Cars. Farewell to them. All the legacy cars got replaced by the newer trains.

When I first saw that happen in Fremont BART, I thought, wow, that quick, operators transform 2 short trains (3 to 5 cars each) into longer (6- to 10-car) consists. I the. Thought, do they also do that at Millbrae or Daly City BART too? With Richmond, they do it beyond the station since Platform 1 is disembarking only while Platform 2 (to SF or Fremont) is boarding only. But, excellent quick shot!

Well, it probably isn’t THAT hard to film trains coupling in NYC...unless you try this on PATH lol.
