Nickelodeon's most underrated show of all time, hands down.

I’m 42. I’m divorced and alone. I remember being a kid and watching this show with my dad. I wish my kids could live in this world instead of the garbage dump we live in now.

I’m a grown man in my 40’s. I even own this song and listen to it every so often but just watching the whole intro hits an emotional and mental place that brings tears to my eyes. I feel the wonder and innocence of childhood that I really mourn nowadays more than ever. I didn’t know how special those days were when they were happening. Regret is a vicious thing.

Who else misses being a kid in the '90? Those were the times! Thumbs up if you agree

One of the only show intros I would never want to skip. It slaps every time.
God, it makes me want Summer so bad too... Thinking of the pool episode, the simplicity appreciation of a nice public pool. This show was so real

This was one of the best shows on television in the early 90s.

I watched this show with my young son (around 5 or 6) all the time. We had a game we always played while this theme song played -- when the instrumental part started, I jumped up to play air guitar, and he would jump up and try and stop me, all in fun. I loved those moments and love thinking about them.

Just found :the orange years, a documentary about Nickelodeon’s best years on Hulu, and sure enough, Pete and Pete and hey sandy were covered. Rip Nickelodeon 1990-2004. You’re missed

No one will ever be able to understand how great your childhood was if you searched out this video. No one but the rest of us that searched it anyway.

We 90’s kids.. We were so lucky to grow up in such a fun time. We’re the last of our kind!

This song and intro will always bring a good feeling in my heart and memories of simpler times as a kid in the 90’s

You can't convince me that the 90s weren't better. We've lost everything wholesome to be more edgy and destructive to woo our egos.

I probably haven't seen an episode of this show in more than a decade, but the other day I was listening a radio station on Spotify and it played this song, and it brought me right back here, after all these years I still immediately recognize this song. What a great song and what a great show.

I still have such a crush on Dave McCaffrey specifically bc of how happy he is to just be jamming on his bass guitar singing backup in someone's front yard to an audience of garden gnomes. Good times 💕
