Unboxing my new Xeric Vendetta

Video 129: In this video, I unbox my new (and recently released) Xeric Vendetta. this is a 3-arm wandering hand display watch. in simple terms, the lower face of watch has the hour pointing down to the minute. as you can see, there is a new Xeric in the collection!

Never heard of this brand. Interesting, different, and I can see myself wearing it. I’ll check them out.

I agree a seconds function is needed. A clear seconds disk under the hours mechanism with perhaps just a dot rotating on the dials surface would be enough to give it the animation it is begging for. There is so much visual information already that whatever they add would need to be very subtle.

Still a cool watch and think the approach they took from a pre-existing idea has great layout and proportions. I don’t think $1500 is unreasonable considering what it must take to produce this watch but that amount of money can get you into some real collector/enthusiast watches if you buy pre-owned. I seriously doubt this will hold its value and while that’s not why most of us buy watches it is nice to not lose your shirt when you opt to trade-in for something different down the road.
