10:33 Don’t worry, there’s more! Japanese online is typically written from left to right, but traditionally and in books and signs and stuff it is top to bottom, but it isn't top to bottom left to right, its right to left like Arabic.

It is very cool that you want to learn Spanish. All you really need is a lot of input! (for literally every language). So a great way to start is the Easy Spanish Youtube channel. You just to be consistent, if you only learn 10 new words every day, that is 3650 words a year. Also try to have fun, don’t study it like a school subject, play games, read books, watch Youtube videos etc. It does take a while, but when you become fluent one day, you can’t really forget it.

Japanese isnt actually exclusively written vertically. Its basically just books, as far as i know. All the other stuff is horizontal for the most part.

I dropped Japanese in school for being in a bad state of mind and decided to try and pick it up again now that I've graduated... Oh boy. Its hard trying to learn a language when you don't have an annoying old lady constantly harass you to keep studying and when the only immersion you can do in your dorm room is being a geek and watch anime or play games with the language settings changed.
