About a week ago my sister accidentally left her baggage on the Carolinian, so the station agent called the agent at the next station and in less than 3 minutes he retrieved her luggage and we picked it up safely. That’s why I love Amtrak! #AmtrakHowTo

In 2008 I had to take Amtrak to get to VISTA PSO. I had one small suitcase and kept it with me on the way there, a very long trip. Small mistake, since I had to juggle my bag when I went to the restroom. When I boarded for the trip back, I decided to check my suitcase so I could go to the restroom without worrying about juggling my bag or leaving my bag at my seat. Big mistake. The woman took my bag and then forced me to sign a paper saying that my bag was damaged before I gave it to her. It was not at all damaged. It was in perfect condition. But she would not check my bag nor return my bag to me unless I signed the paper. I signed it because it was the only way my bag wouldn't go to the garbage. I soon found out why she forced me to sign that paper. She grabbed my suitcase with both hands, spun around like a kettlebell thrower, and tossed my suitcase across the room where it went through an open window onto a pile of other bags. My coworker and I stood there with our mouths dropped open, ducking to avoid getting hit with my bag if it slipped out of her hand during her spins, too shocked to speak. My coworker decided NOT to let him have her bag, after seeing what she did to mine. After that toss, my suitcase was broken. The pull-out handle for rolling no longer moves up and down because the metal bars were both dented when she threw my bag. If I'm ever forced onto Amtrak for work purposes, I will NEVER let any Amtrak employee touch my bag! If you're going on Amtrak, make sure to bring bags that you don't care about!

Great video and just want to quickly say again that the power car number 2022 which I saw today/10/4/2021 still has some damage on the nose of the power car and I would highly recommend that it gets fixed.

Today in Tucson a amtrak officer was killed on the southwest chief I think it was the southwest but they brought the swat team in and I'm like damn
