Dude, there is no higher level of technique than what he was taught at BAMA. The move on the stunt is intentional to open the gap for the other players. Also, under Nick Saban, the defenses is designed for the linebackers to make the tackle. Having watched Barmore his entire career at BAMA, you got a physical monster! But he has been emotional at times and will lack effort if he feels he is being held. Get him under a good contract with performance based incentives and he should be fine. He had zero high school coaching so he was a "project" when he got to Bama. He is not a project now.

In my own mocks, I always had my Bucs taking levi onwuzurike because I never thought Barmore would be there. Barmore was the guy I really wanted at 32 but never thought we'd have a crack at. I'd have loved to have a line of Suh, Vea and Barmore with Barmore taking over for Suh in a year or two.

If anyone wants to see what a player with Barmore's skillset can do, watch the Super Bowl or NFC championship game and keep an eye on Vita Vea. Big, strong and nasty disruptors and just blow up a blocking scheme.

I was looking at Shelvin as a DT for the Patriots, the 350 lbs DT. I like Barmoore too, at least he is tested in practice against a championship line

I think dominant strength translates, but since NFL linemen are stronger he might just be average. He is also only 310 so maybe he gets bigger and stronger with NFL training
