The #3 is just shy of having its 10-year birthday, as for the pl880, it boasts good sound but the sync detector is practically unusable, that said it blows the ATS 909x out of the water, especially with its Autotuning system on shortwave which is something Tecsun does that I'm surprised others haven't followed suit with.
