The JRPGs released in 2024 have been some of the best JRPGs in recent years. That said there are still more JRPG heavy hitters coming out to wrap out 2024. This list will include the 14 best JRPGs releasing the rest of the year that you can put on your list to look forward to. For me the JRPGs at the top of my list are Metaphor Refantazio and Visions of Mana but I'm also interested in some sleepers like card-en-ciel.

Visions of Mana is my top pick, as evident within my activity of playing the past Mana games (FF Adventure, Secret having played, and almost done with Trials) and well being hyped for it!!!

I want Pokemon to go back to their roots with pixel art. Something like Brown Dust 2 or Sword of Convaliria(however you spell it) graphic wise, with all the things we loved about Pokémon.

I cant lie that gacha actually looks sick. And you made a good point with putting $60 towards battle passes and calling it a regular game, Honestly got me to pre-register! Keep up the great content :D You've introduced me single handedly to SOOOO many sick new games <3

I wish we had spiritual inheritors of Level-V. Dark Cloud 2 from back in the day was really special.

Good list! I think it's better Deca Police and even Suikoden 1-2 HD is probably moved to 2025-2026 given this year is already packed with big hits jrpgs. It's a good problem to have so no complain and jrpg gamers with backlogs will agree.

I've got three of the games on this list on pre-order. Can't wait to get my hands on Reynatis, Ys X, and Dragon Quest!
Edit: This is my military background speaking (and a deep disdain for communism), but I'll never support a game that was developed in China. Anywhere else in the pacific is fine. China, no.

Visions of mana is the first mainland since x amount of years you say? Its practically the 1 Secret of Mana. Just added characters. Updated modern visuals. Just not an exact remake/rebirth
