I definitely think that a fight between Sonic and Mario could go either way or end in a tie. I don't really mind who someone says wins as long as they don't downplay either side because downplaying is still an issue.

I disagree about Mario having superior combat skill. Here are some examples of impressive combat skill Sonic has demonstrated.
• Sonic has won physical combat against Knuckles during various games, who is both skilled in martial arts and stronger than Sonic. Additionally, during “Sonic Lost World”, Sonic defeated Master Zik, who is over one-thousand years old, still capable of fighting, and had trained Zavok to be the strongest of the Deadly Six.
• During “Sonic Adventure 2”, Sonic was able to replicate Chaos Control using a fake Chaos Emerald on his first try, which Shadow was in disbelief about despite being far more familiar with Chaos Control.
• During “Sonic Battle”, Sonic had to defeat Ultimate Emerl in 30 seconds. Emerl had perfectly copied the skills of Sonic and the other playable characters.
• During “Sonic and the Black Night”, Sonic was quick to learn and apply methods of fighting with a sword.

Glad that someone doesn't give Battle IQ to Sonic, Mario is a better leader and create strategies, and i agree, both have annoying fanboys, i saw a guy saying that Mario Kun can beat Sun Wukong, and that Dragonkingmadarauchiha is one of the biggest Sonic's fanboy, all of his argument are "All Mario fans are toxic" "Arguing with a Mario fan is like arguing with a wall" and in Lobster's video Bowser Vs Frieza Vs Garmadon Vs Venom Vs Vilgax Vs Eggman he said that Eggman would defeat them with negative diff when is clearly that Eggman is going to get his @$s beaten first
