The auditions and battles are an extremely long day for the coaches. I know many viewers don’t like the block feature but it just lets the coaches have a little fun while they have to sit and listen to these competitors, some sound horrible from the start and don’t get a chair turned but the better singers, if they are really good, the coach who was blocked still gets a chance of getting the competitor on their team. I enjoy it. Makes me crack up when the coach doesn’t realize until the singer is done that they’ve been blocked. New coaches to the team get hammered with blocks but they learn quickly and block quickly during the next season. It’s fun for me. I hate the singers who decide to sing behind a curtain which is unfair to the coaches who have their backs turned. I would expect to see the person that I turned my chair for. I think it’s a coach in Italy who hates that and if he turns his chair, he will walk up and pull the curtain down while the person is singing. I guess they don’t realize how long the coaches day is during blinds and battles. I think the public votes for the knockouts. Maybe it’s COVID that is the reason for so many poor competitors in 2021. I have only watched 5 singers who have interest me and I watch all Country’s and they all have really good singers. I am in the US and haven’t seen one that has interest me at all but I love Latino singers and those from Holland, Netherlands. My least favorite are those from India but I have to say they are, both male and female, really beautiful people. This is just my 64 year old opinion so don’t beat me up with nasty comments.
