Question: Should I Use Anti Key Logging Software?

I've come across a product called Zemana Anti-Logger which claims to prevent keylogging and other threats. However, I can't find a decent review for this product anywhere. The application is real, the question is, does it work? What solution would you use to prevent key logging?

Forgive my spam Eli, but I failed to elaborate, since im at work have to keep it short. I feel this would be exactly what the guy with the question would be aiming for. Keyscrambler pro wont prevent keyloggers from entering your computer(most spyware and antivirus programs cover that) but will encrypt every keystroke so it makes it unknown what youre typing, so essentially, assuming you already have a keylogger, this will prevent whatever party in seeing what youre really typing. I rate it an A.

Now I actually use Zemana and after using it for awhile it hasn't picked up any threats. It's an overkill but I'd rather have too much than too little.

So, your answer to someone that needs keylogger protection is: don't use it because I dont need it.

6:00 *Rats and Slaves:* 3 words that will make you think different about security. Never ask someone that doesn't take his own security seriously about security. Because no matter who you are. Your security is important, only after you become a target you will realise how valuable of a target you and your family are and how much you have to lose. Many people are actively being spied on without their knowledge. Just do a quick search for *Rats & Slaves.* There are entire websites dedicated to selling pre-hacked computers and phones. And your device may be on their list. These RATs get full access to your cameras, mics and even gps. People have been blackmailed while the attacker was able to monitor their reaction real-time. Telling their victims in which direction to walk and even threathening them not to call the cops as they grab their phones. This is not some fictional bullshit, this is real and becoming a bigger problem everyday as these pre-hacked devices are becomming available to the masses. And getting sold in online shops by the 1000s per purchase.

Do whatever you need to do to make your computers more secure. Use a VPN (router), *learn about browser-leaks, * encrypt your devices, use a password manager (keepassXC), do not open random links or USB sticks... and learn about best practices as a lot of it comes down to your own behaviour on your computer, finally move away from Windows if possible and remain aware of potential threaths.

Not securing your computer is like driving a motorcycle without a helmet. If something goes wrong your attacker will have full access to your entire life. Does one really want to play chicken with that?

I came here because i was searching for a linux alternative and hopefully some indepth advice. But the lax attitude towards security alone was highly dissapointing...

Zemana Anti-Logger free has a very small footprint on resources have used it for three years no problems. Personally I don't like their Anti-Malware though it is resource heavy IMO.

Keyloggers were installed on every single computer by a fellow employee at my IT job and all our passwords all had to be changed. Our boss' boss's boss confiscated every single computer and flashdrive within 10 minutes of our findings. Also, he used these passwords to remote in to one of our employees computer at home and try to uninstall anti-keylogging software in order to get even more information. My school's cyber security engineer is investigating who did it. There are rumors that he will be fired, expelled, and sentenced to do time. This is a very serious thing, don't be dumb. be responsible.

Beware of wireless keyboard sniffers, mainly targeting Microsoft keyboards(bluetooth and wifi). Thats what you have to be concerned about. I think the only way to defend against that is to get a hardwired keyboard.
