California: Will moderate Democrats flip Republican-held House seats?

Democrats avoided being shut out of any Congressional races in Tuesday's primaries in California. Democrats are looking to flip several Republican-held House seats in November. In the governor's race, Democratic Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom will face Republican John Cox, who has the backing of President Trump. Alexei Koseff, politics and Capitol Alert reporter for the Sacramento Bee, joins CBSN's "Red & Blue" to recap the key races and looks ahead to the general elections in November.

What's the best way to get the candidates to openly state their position on specific gun control measures?
Do most have Reddit AMAs? Anywhere we can call them out in a public forum?
My concern is, a moderate democrat might stay quiet on that issue and lure in conservative votes, and hide the fact that he's going to beeline for a ban the minute he gets into office.

California is toast. I hope they enact single payer health care and collapse the state. That alone costs more than their entire budget. Throw in free day care, preschool and free college and California is done!

Everyone wants to see a future for California needs to vote in November, no matter how small you think the chance would be.

Newsome talks the big Democrat talk but really the question is how can California afford to do any of those things with them so far already in the red. Is he going to add more taxes more regulations. " most likely" got hundreds of thousands of people leaving California businesses closing shop and moving to different states and the Democrats want to keep it quiet. fewer and fewer taxable entities in California eventually who's left for them to overburden with taxes because we already know you can't tax a welfare recipient
