You can marginalize his style as derivative, but the fact is, if there is no one to play this flavor of music, the flavor's lost.

Kevin doesn't make bad music, but it's so basic and average most of the time. It's like he can't determine if he wants to be Neil Young or Billy Strings or Paul Simon, and yet can't even come close to making anything as emotional or raw as they could.
