3:27 If preserving what parents have given is considered important, then doesn't getting a plastic surgery go against that thinking?

Aww, the girl with the short hair was adorable. But why was she leaning away from you so much? Lol.

Honestly blurring it out feels like it’d be counter productive. They’re putting them on this pedastal, drawing more attention to it and making it feel like a bad thing. I’m sure if they just normalized it it would be just as effective

The guy with the glasses " you shouldn't alter what your parents gave you ". Danny and David should have asked him what his thoughts on plastic surgery are.

I love the way you interviewed 3 different generation people for this. 😃 Though how liberal we are in India these days, even a small tattoo on a girl is viewed negatively mostly wondering if the girl has a skin problem. It used to be that in olden times, people used to tattoo themselves to hide their skin bruises or other marks so, that idea still lingers around here in India. Although it's not the same as blurring it out in TV shows or elsewhere, we show it off with pride if it's on a male or female celebrity alike😆
I thought in K-pop it was pretty bold of Taeil, from BlockB to get a neck tattoo, and I love every bit of it. ❤

I've been wondering about the stigma behind tattoos in Korea. Here in the U.S. they are normal and seen as art where your body is your canvas. No one thinks twice about them. Thank you for this video, it's very insightful.

There are gangs with tattoos running around Korea? Wow, this was interesting! Please tell that dude not to get a couple's tattoo. I've rarely seen a couple last after getting that 😬

I like the older woman. She has even reached the point where she realizes her emotions aren't always correct by default. Kudos!

I find it really nice that young people can recognize they have prejudices against tattoos and are able to question their thinking. That's a huge step for a society, it shows that their mindset is changing and will eventually turn into more open.

I watch a lot of korean dramas and variety shows and other korean tv shows and people with tattoos are portrayed as gangsters and bullies, so I wonder if they portrayed them differently the stigma would change? Some of the most wholesome korean idols/celebrities I know have tattoos.

How sad. I'm a heavily tattooed women with a bachelor's degree, and seeing how the outside world would judge without getting to know me makes me even more determined to disprove the stigma.

This is basically the same thinking as in the US then. Its also funny how no one can answer how much is too much. I find the idea of preserving what your parents gave to you honorable. That's a good reason not to if its a value in your life. On the other hand I always find it a bit amusing how people seem to think big tattoos or a lot of tattoos means the person either put less thought into having them or they mean less to them.

Kind of upset that I couldn't think of questions when you asked on twitter but now I can. Like what do they think of cultural tattooing like the Maori and other cultures do? And would they be able to overcome prejudices if a person had a lot of tattoos but were otherwise likeable? Ah well.

its interesting to see how different countries view tattoos. in korea/japan they tie it with gangs and violence, while in polynesia we view it as our heritage, our family, our status, strength. tattoos represent who we are (in polynesia).
