I am fully bought into the Apple ecosystem and have been for some time. I’m seriously thinking of jumping ship. It’s very frustrating that Apple continues to push their “new” features out 1-2 years that Samsung has had for years at this point. There’s no excuse for them to release the iPhone 17 without major changes. I can’t be the only one frustrated about Apples lack of ingenuity. Even iOS has been super busy all year for me.

the weird thing is that I like the updated photos app, what I don't like is that the way that they laid it out by default is really bad, they need to move around stuff like the albums to be a lot more intuitive by default

You wouldn’t eliminate the Dynamic Island, you’d just have it disappear when not in use.

Yes, the email absolutely does not sync correctly with server and devices. Delete on the phone does not delete on ipad or the other way around. you have to physically go to server and delete them

I love Face ID but wish it also pointed down as well so it would work in more situations. It is still the best though.

It's better to equip the iPhone 17 air model with Magsafe charging since it's more slimmer than the USB-Type C. So the mac users also will be able to charge their iPhone 17 air devices with the magsafe charger itself :)
