1967 Volvo 122S POV Test Drive

This 1967 Volvo 122S was the subject of a multi-year build completed in 2020 that involved repainting the body in white with a gray roof and rebuilding the 1.8-liter B18 inline-four. Engine upgrades include an Isky camshaft, CP pistons, and a stainless-steel exhaust system, and shifting is through a replacement four-speed manual transmission. The car is further equipped with lowering springs, KYB shocks, IPD sway bars, 15″ Compomotive wheels, and low-back front bucket seats upholstered in tan vinyl as well as a push-button starter, driving lights, a cabin heater, and a RetroSound stereo connected to Eclipse speakers. The current owner acquired the car on BaT in December 2022, and the Weber carburetor was cleaned and rebuilt in preparation for the sale. This 122S is now offered on dealer consignment with manufacturer’s literature, a build summary and photos, partial service records, dynamometer and compression test results, and a clean Oregon title.
