I discovered the channel a week ago and I absolutely love it! I used to be quite good at sudoku when I was younger and watching these videos is a really nice nostalgic trip to my teenage years. You are a true inspiration to an impatient person like me!

I loved that the puzzle stayed complicated till the end. Usually the second half is just a fill in numbers situation but this formed so many pairs of different numbers that you couldnt fill in until the end.

I'm pretty sure that no one will ever see this comment but I found your videos a few days ago and I've been having a really hard time lately, and I've always loved sudoku so watching your videos a lot during the day and especially in the evenings is one of the few things keeping me somewhat stable right now. They're really good distractions and I'm really enjoying all the videos

Must be even due to x/2, must be at least 7 due to the lower right corner being 6 squares worth 3x, must be at most 11 due to the X or X + 1 containing a 2. Can’t be an 8 because that’d give 5x/2 = 20 *but* the middle box must be at least 1 + 3 + 5 meaning that’s impossible. Less than 10 min in, this is going great! Aaaaand then I stared at the grid for half an hour without progress and just watched the video

Simon, thank you for continually explaining the basics. In every video you always explain the basic logic on how you got there, but so much of the logic requires specific techniques and you explain those techniques as if everybody watching was here for the first time. In this one it was the X-Wing technique. That is so helpful.
