I think Staley is okay. Just okay. AFC west is gonna get more competitive next year and the chargers need some big changes to make it next year. I love him, he’s a great guy, but when you have competition such as Sean Payton for example, it’s a no brainer. Payton would win the Super Bowl with the chargers.

It's popular to hate on Staley but I think firing him now would be too premature. His roster has always been snakebitten and he plays in a very competitive conference. Give him one more year. He should probably fire Joe Lombardi though.

It's amazing that people are still defending this guy. He makes horrible play calls. Is suppose to be a defense genius and when we were healthy in the beginning of the year, had a bottom 3 defense. Team talent wins the games DESPITE the coaching. The difference between a powerhouse team like the chiefs? If we're up 20 the belief and possible reality is we're still going to lose. If the chiefs are down 20, people believe they can come back. That's the difference and Staley is not that guy. No excuse for being a defensive coach and constantly allowing thr opposing team to come back over and over. He's not a winner and Chargers deserve better. Stop defending him. That goes for Lombardi as well

I don’t think Staley is a good HC he makes questionable decisions constantly.. He was a DC before and Chargers defense has played worse during his tenure

People are hypercritical of coach Staley but he’s willed this team to 10 wins and a playoff berth with half the roster missing most the year. The only person on the hot seat is Lombardi
