Rei A Varua is an 'Aparima that talks about the voyage of a spirit when a person leaves this earth, little did I know that at the exact same moment while I was dancing to these words, my grandfather passed away. Even tho I had no clue about that, I felt so connected with the lyrics, and the music, and the moment, and the place, and I can almost assure it was my grandfather coming all the way to Tahiti to say one last filled with love "goodbye".
Happy to share with you this little but really significant anecdote through my dancing.
