Gonna be real, definitely my favorite Jedi star fighter set of all time, the ship is fantastic, very little stickers, decent size, fantastic Jedi figure

When I was in 5th grade (2011/2012), one of my friends came up with a concept for Episode VII where many Jedi come back - Eeth Koth, Kit Fisto (because he refused to believe he’s dead because he’s his favorite), Quinlan Vos, and Jedi Bob, except Jedi Bob was secretly a Sith Lord the whole time.

Printed pieces and a better minifig selection would make the $40 price tag far more palatable, but as it stands now it's a bit absurd. That said, I am very very happy that Lego FINALLY made a Delta 7 with a proper pointed nose and I hope they continue that with future Delta 7 models.

Best guess (not confirmed) for the wings being sorted that way is to ensure they don't package 2 wedge plates of the same orientation. LEGO probably did quality control & realized their sorting machines tended to double up on 1 piece more than they considered acceptable.

I also prefer clone Ackbar to a clone pilot as more Mon Calamari is preferable to more clones, but you can't please everyone.

It is not rumoured that the price is 40$, it is 40$. Set is on lego site for some days. So it is officially overpriced.

It is $40. I got mine yesterday. Only reason i got it at that price is it was a gift. Cool set, though.

LEGO should have added lime green to the starfighter as a nod to the Republic Gunship.

This us a little late but im pretty sure the left and right wedges are seperated vecause lego bags are verified by weight and you cant verify a left vs a right but. A lot of times lefts and rights will be in different bags like one in the small pieces and accessorys, and one with the larger pieces
