Hornby TT:120 The Scotsman Train Set

A journey on a Pullman service would be regarded by many as the pinnacle of rail travel in the steam era. The LNER A1 4-6-2 locomotive and complementary Pullman coaches included in this set represent how the Flying Scotsman™ may have looked in the LNER heyday of the 1930s, that being the Flying Scotsman service and not the somewhat famous locomotive named after it. This service would run non-stop between Edinburgh and London, departing at 10:00 in each direction.

This set contains a starter oval of track and a siding providing a good size layout for you to get started. This included circuit can be expanded with our easy-to-add track extension packs.

This set features working lights in the coaches.

This set got me into British outline TT:120 two years ago. Nice addition to my already existing Arnold TT collection - and The Scotsman set has laid the foundation for my well sized Britisg outline TT collection existing today. And, by the way, I've got another one just recently as a christmas gift for my uncle who had never been into model railways so far. He loves it and is already planning his first layout. I love how there are a bunch of people insulting the TT gauge, yet they don't own a whole company and cannot afford to create the supply and demand, and they cannot fix every single problem with it.
